MGB Signalling Limited provide a full range of engineering services to the rail signalling industry, including design, product manufacture, installation, testing and commissioning.

3r were approached when it was realised that far greater financial control and management was required, to manage a rapidly growing and complex business which was manufacturing, offering consultancy and design services, and undertaking significant rail contracts in some cases as main contractor for the customer.

MGB’s strategic aim is to continue to support both infrastructure owner/operators and technology providing contractors and fill the gap between the service provided by the technology providers and the requirement of the infrastructure operators, by continuing to develop the service offering based on the three main streams: Projects, Products & E&P.

3r took a seat on the Board and a small equity stake in the business, and introduced the new systems and processes to allow management a greater understanding of the dynamics of the business, delivered financial control, and supported the business planning process and a number of business critical decisions.
